visa holder out of uae for 6 months

Dear sir,I have a valid Dubai resident visa until march 2011,but now i am out of u.a.e for more than 6 months,because of my personnel matter.during 6 months period i tried to contact my sponsor for visa cancellation,unfortunately i couldn't locate my sponsor.until now sponsors email and contact numbers are offline.so my questions are NOW WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY VISA? POSSIBLE TO COME TO DUBAI AS A VISITOR?and finally WHAT CAN I DO TO RENEWAL OF MY RESIDENT VISA? thank you.
