Wife's old passport for Spouse Visa

Hi

My wife has marriage passport before marriage where her surname is not changed.Also her name is the same in all the documents so while applying for Visa will she require to show my name anywhere on the old passport or she can use the old one without any changes.
Please assist.

Answer for family visa requirements

If you are talking about bringing your wife and son I can explain it to you in steps as following:
1) Get salary certificate from your employer in the name of DNRD stating that your salary is 15k for the purpose of residence visas of your family (must be typed in Arabic)
2) You must collect one passport copy and on color photograph of your wife and son.
3) You must have your marriage certificate attested by UAE embassy in your home country and it should be in English or you have to make translation in English or Arabic.
4) Take your original passport and a copy, Original marriage certificate and a copy, your wife passport copy and a photograph, your son passport copy and a photograph to the main immigration office near trade center/satwa. There are typing centers in the premises of the immigration department you should firstly go to them and pay the fees which i think AED 280 for the entry permit for your wife and same to the kid. the typing center will type the application take the relevant fees, arrange and attach the documents as mentioned above and will tell you to go to immigration counter inside.
5) Take the number and wait for your turn in the immigration department and when your turn comes present the typed application with attached documents to the immigration officer attending you. The immigration officer may ask you to show your original passport and original marriage certificate but usually they don't and in one minute they will give you the visa/entry visa of your wife and your son.

6) Send the scanned copy of visas to your wife before she travel here and submit the original visas at airport one day before they are arriving here.
7) when they are here take your wife to any government hospital like, Maktoom Hospital, Al Braha Hospital, Satwa Clinic, Dubai Hospital (i think maktoom is the best.) for visa medical check up and you have to go to the typing centers in the hospital premises or in case of maktoom hospital the typing center is just across the road with two photograph and visa copy and passport copy. they will make application for you and take the fees which is around 280/- and then you have to go inside the hospital for check up after that they will give time to pickup the result.
8) once you have the results take again collect all the documents as you have done in getting the entry permit visa and again go to the typing center in immigration with the original visa and original passport and also the medical report and they will take the money for visa stamping on the passport and i think for three years visa the fee is AED 300/- and same procedure that after application preparation take number in immigration and wait for your turn and once your turn comes give every thing to the officer and he will give you back the passport after pasting the visa on it.

Now your family can have the visa for three years. if you are from India its better also to attest your son birth certificate in English also to be attested by UAE embassy in your country.

All this procedure you have to do in any case even your family comes on visit and you then change the visa here but it will cost you almost 3000 more and more problems.
