Resident visa on property investment renewal policy

Earlier, I submitted that my resident visa on property investment was issued to me for the period of 3 years and can be renewal at expiry which is at March 2011. Now I have heard that policy has been changed. Some one says that now it has been converted to 6 months Multiple visa renewal with 2000 dirhams fee. What is this. How can I get the renewal as It was promised while issue to me.
