Residence Visa validity

Sir,

I have a Dubai Residence Visa valid up to January 2013.
My last exit from UAE is stamped March 02, 2010.
How is the 6 months period period calculated?
By when latest I must enter UAE to retain the validity? Would it be September 01, 2010?

Dear Vinod,

The 6 months calucation is based on the date of exit from dubai.

If u have not entered within the duration of months in dubai..you visa is said to not valid by default.
