My residence visa is in process. Can i go o to another country and comback after few days?ut

I am holding employment visa and just came to U.A.E. with this visa 21 days ago. I underwent medical test and finger print already and got the result. And now my employer is doing my residence visa process to be stamped on my passport.
And now i have urgent plan to go to India for visit ( I am Indonesian nationality )
can i go out of the U.A.E. for few days before i have the residence visa stamped on my passport?
