Marriage certificate Attestation

Me and my husband acquired Canadian citizenship in 2008 and currently reside in Canada. We got married in 1999 in India and have a marriage certificate issued in India. My husband recently got a job in Dubai.

In order for my husband to sponsor me on his visa, can you please advise from where do i have to get the marriage certificate attested ( UAE consulate in Canada or India )? or Indian embassy ?

What are the other documents required ?
