late visa application for my baby

My baby is now 18 months old and because of my husbands problem in the company where he is working(very late salary) we were always having a financial problem.So we did not able to apply a visa for our baby.As of now we are planning to apply a visa for our baby this month.I just want to ask,is there any penalties?or any problem?
My husband is very qualified for the sponsorship coz he's getting 12,500 salary monthly...thank you!
