We are going to Dubai in Sept from the 13th for 12 nights. Is this during Ramadan and how will we be affected?

Yes you will be in Dubai during the Ramadan time. During this time of the Islamic calendar, you won't really find too many pubs open or restaurants. I would suggest you trying to change your visit dates to October or preferably November.

If you are coming to Dubai, I would suggest you pick up a copy of the Vice Versa card, which can be used for your shopping, dining or even for your leisure needs. You can visit the website www.viceversacard.com and order a complimentary pack that will be delivered to your home in the UK. All the major retail outlets are listed with Vice Versa and they are all open during Ramadan.
