Getting Work Permit/Residence with only first name and surname

Hi,
I have been told by my PRO that we need all the first, middle and last name in order to
acquire an employment visa and I will not be able to get a visa if I have only my first
name and last name in the passport.

He says that I need the middle name also. How can that be? How can I add a middle name
when I never was given one.

Please advice
