Dubai Visa for 2-3 days - What kind of Dubai visa do we need and where do we get them?

(Houston, Texas, USA)

My wife and I are flying to Dubai on April 18, 2011 on Lufthansa. We will be staying 2 nights , then boarding the Cruise Ship on April 20 2011 for a cruise to Athens.

What kind of Dubai visa do we need and where do we get them? We do not have a travel agent and have made our own independent air travel arrangements.

We are citizens of the USA and have current passports. I was told we could obtain the needed Visa at the Dubai airport. We arrive at 22:40.
