Dubai transit visa requirement

Hi Sir
myself and wife are Indian passport holders now on a short visit to uk. we travelled by emirates flight via Dubai in april last and our return trip is in June on our return on 10 June 2010 there is a stop over at Dubai air port for about 18hrs. so we are thinking of visiting Dubai city during the short period.kindly advise the formalities to be complied
