The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is perhaps the most popular event in Dubai. The government established it in 1996 to support retail trade.

The Dubai International Film Festival is held at the Dubai Media City every year towards the end of the year. This event promotes both Arab and International movies.

The Dubai World Cup of the Emirates World Series is the world’s richest horse race and is held in March every year at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse in Dubai.
The Dubai Rugby Sevens is held every year for three days between November and December and the initial round of the IRB World Series is hosted by the Dubai Exiles Rugby Club.
The Dubai Tennis Championships held every year at the famous Tennis Stadium in Dubai is the hangout for the best tennis players in the world.
Dubai Events: Religious
Ramadan is one of the most important religious festivals celebrated in Dubai where you have to fast and abstain from pleasure for one whole lunar month.
You can eat only between sunset and sunrise. When the new moon is seen after this period, devotees celebrate for three days.
