Do I need to stamp visit visa on my passport?

Question: My sponsor has sent me a visit visa from UAE for UAE and a round ticket - Do i need to get it stamped on my passport or I just fly to UAE? Please inform me if there are any rules by which i have to contact UAE embassy in Pakistan before I fly.
