do i have to take tourist visa?

i am a legal worker in italy but i am not a citizen in this country, i want to take my connecting flight to dubai then go back home( italy-dubai-philippines and then coming back to italy will be philippines-italy) i want to drop by and see the city of dubai for 2 to 3 days only before going to philippines and no one can sponsor me. do i still have to take tourist visa though my document are all legal here in italy?
