Airport Transfer - Do I need to get a visa for transferring flights through Dubai?

I am travelling from Durban South Africa to Hong Kong on Emirates. The flight goes through via Dubai and I will not be leaving the airport. Do I need to get a visa for transferring flights through Dubai?
